Summary:
Log is not showing port scan events
Symptoms:
Environment:
  • Untrust interface is being port scanned
  • Port scan screening is enabled and threshold is being exceeded
Symptoms & Errors:
  • 'Get log event' does not show these scans
Solution:

This solution applies to all versions of ScreenOS:

Log entries of events, which match firewall screening (attack settings) criteria, are not found in the event log.

Use 'Get alarm event'  to see these attack events.
