  • Unable to telnet via Interface IP
  • Unable to perform all management function using Interface IP
To access or manage ScreenOS firewalls via interface or manage-IP, the IP manageable function must be enabled.  If the IP Manageable is disabled, all management actions can only be available using the Manage-IP of the interface(s).

To enable the IP Manageable option on interface(s), use the following command:

set interface <interface-name> ip manageable

NOTE:  If the firewall is in HA running NSRP, refer to KB11363 - Cannot manage (Telnet, SSH, WebUI, SSL, HTTP, HTTPS, SNMP) for additional tips.
