How Do I Enable Traffic Log Email From the NetScreen Device?

Symptoms:

Environment:

  • set admin mail traffic-log

Symptoms & Errors:

  • No traffic log email can be received
Solution:

To enable the traffic log email on the NetScreen device, perform the following steps:

Open the WebUI. For more information on accessing the WebUI, go to Accessing Your NetScreen Using the WebUI.

From the NetScreen options menu, click Configuration, select Report Settings, and then click Email.

Click to select Include Traffic Log.

Click Apply.

note: There must be at least one policy that has logging enabled for the NetScreen device to send out traffic log email.

note: You can also use the Command Line Interface to enable the traffic log email to be sent out from the NetScreen device by using the set admin mail traffic-log command.

set admin mail traffic-log [Enter]
