Summary:
How do I disable the sync of RTO ping sessions?
Symptoms:

NSRP enabled

RTO ping session enabled

ICMP packets are sync to the backup

Solution:

In an NSRP configuration with RTO enabled, UDP, TCP and ICMP packets are synchronized by default. This can be seen through the get nsrp
CLI command.

Below is a sample output from "get nsrp" command:

RTO mirror info:
run time object sync: enabled
color="blue">ping session sync: enabled
coldstart sync done

With this enabled, all ping sessions are synchronized to the backup unit. To disable RTO ping session sync, issue the following command:

unset nsrp rto session ping
