How Do I Upgrade Firmware From Juniper Networks NSM?


Need to upgrade ScreenOS on device


To upgrade firmware from Juniper Networks NetScreen-Security Manager (NSM), perform the following steps:

Connect to NetScreen-Security Manager. For more information, go to Connecting to the NetScreen Security Manager.

Click Tools, and then click Firmware Manager.

From the Firmware Manager window, verify that the upgrade firmware is listed, and then click OK.

Click Devices, select Firmware, and then click Change Device Firmware.

Click to choose the device to update, and then in the Select Target Firmware Version drop-down menu, click to select the firmware version.

Click Next.

Click Finish.

note:The device OS will now need to be adjusted.

Expand Device Manager, and then click FW/VPN Devices.

Right-click the device that was updated and then click Adjust OS Version.
