Summary:

How do I turn off or disable the debugs and snoop on a NetScreen, SSG, or ISG firewall?

Symptoms:

A TAC engineer assisted me with turning on debugs on my NetScreen firewall, and I no longer need them.

Solution:

The 'undebug' command will allow you to turn off specific and all debugs.

undebug ?
undebug <debug>
undebug all    (turns off all debugs)

Use 'get debug' to see which debugs are running.

The 'snoop off' command turns off snoop.

snoop off

Use 'snoop info' to see if 'snoop' is on or off.

TIP:  Hitting the [ESC] key will also turn off all debugs and snoop.

Refer to the 'Related Links' for additional information on 'debug flow' and 'snoop'.

Modification History:
2020-09-01: Fixed broken link.
