ADSL Settings for Various Service Providers

Summary:
How do you know which ADSL settings are required when setting up your SRX210, SRX240, or NS-5GT ADSL device to your ISP?
Symptoms:
Getting connected using ADSL via PPPoE or PPPoA
Solution:
Refer to the following table for the common Service Provider settings. It specifies the VPI and VCI settings for your ISP, as well as the encapsulation (LLC or VCMUX).

SRX

NS-5GT

To configure your NetScreen-5GT ADSL or NetScreen-5GT ADSL Wireless device, first make sure the ADSL interface is bound to the Untrust zone, and the Untrust interface is bound to the Null zone (this should be the default).  Then, configure your ADSL interface based on configuration settings as specified in the table above.
