[Archive] BSOD after installing NSRemote 8.6 if GreenBorder Desktop Security Application exists

Summary:

After installing NetScreen Remote 8.6 (or lower) on a Windows 2000 SP4 or Windows XP SP2 system that is also running GreenBorder's Desktop Security Application, a Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) occurs after the system is rebooted.  

Symptoms:
NetScreen Remote 8.6 (and lower) is conflicting with the GreenBorder Desktop Security Application, and crypto.sys is the culprit.
Solution:

Uninstall the previous version of NetScreen Remote, and install NetScreen Remote 8.8 or later. 

QA023770 - Installation after GreenBorder Security Agent is installed causes BSOD (actually fixed in NetScreen-Remote 8.7)
