Article ID: KB8528 KB Last Updated: 23 Jun 2010Version: 4.0
Summary:
When trying to download the latest boot loader image from a TFTP server (3CDaemon) to an ISG2000 during the boot up sequence, the TFTP was not responding (although ARP request/reply was seen). Trial download of OS image further along the boot up sequence was successful, but boot loader cannot be loaded at that point.

Symptoms:
Checkpoint Securemote client running on TFTP server.
Solution:

Disable Checkpoint SecureRemote client on the TFTP server. Download was then successful.

Note: You can disable the client by openning the network adapter properties and uncheck "Check Point SecuRemote".
