How do you clear ARP entries for interfaces configured within a logical-system.

Article ID: KB8733 KB Last Updated: 24 Jun 2019Version: 3.0
How do you clear ARP entries for interfaces configured within a logical-system.
In the CLI, execute the command  set cli logical-router [name].  Once the CLI has reached the logical router hierarchy, execute  show arp  to see just the ARP entries for that logical router. In this example, 'test1' is name of logical system:
lab@test-re0> set cli logical-system test1
Logical system: test1

lab@test-re0:test1> show arp
MAC Address Address Name Interface Flags
00:1d:b5:6c:66:79 ge-3/1/1.0 none
00:1d:b5:6c:66:7b ge-3/1/3.0 none
Total entries: 2

Using the command 'clear arp' will clear the arp entries from the interfaces in this logical system:
lab@test-re0:test1> clear arp deleted deleted

lab@test-re0:test1> show arp

Modification History:
2019-06-24: Minor updates to clarify that Test1 is the logical system.
