Summary:

The Top 100 Spam site provides a method to verify if anti-spam is working properly against real world IP's.

Symptoms:

Solution:

There is a top 100 spam site list that is maintained daily.  The list is available at http://www.juniper.net/security/auto/spam/.  The effective date is listed on the top.  Generally, you will want to test against the latest version of the top 100 list.

Below is an example of the list and how to test against the list.

The list of IP addresses below represents the Top 100 blacklist contained in the anti-spam engine on Juniper Networks appliances with anti-spam. This is provided for informational use only and will be updated regularly.

You can also do an on demand lookup of an IP address to determine if it is in the anti-spam database.  The URL is http://www.sophos.com/security/j/ip-lookup/.
