Change in Daylight Savings Schedule

Article ID: KB9279 KB Last Updated: 04 Mar 2017Version: 6.0

Does JUNOS support the changed schedule for daylight savings beginning in March 2007?

The US government has implemented the Energy Policy Act of 2005 which changes the schedule for daylight savings beginning in March 2007.

Originally, Daylight Saving Time (DST) began on the first Sunday in April and changed back to Standard time the last Sunday in October.  Beginning in March 2007, Daylight Saving Time (DST) will begin on the Second Sunday in March and change back to Standard time on the First Sunday of November.

Most current JUNOS versions support the changes in daylight saving schedule.
The list of JUNOS versions that support the changes are listed in PR/64174.
