Service timeout 'never' appears to be decrementing in ISG2000 & NS5000 platforms.

Article ID: KB9354 KB Last Updated: 11 Aug 2010Version: 3.0

Sessions for services with a timeout defined as 'never', are given a timeout value of 13107. On most platforms this value is constant indicating that the session will never timeout, however on the ISG2000 and NS5000 platforms running ScreenOS 5.x,  the displayed value is seen to decrement.

This problem is found to be a display issue only and has no affect on the session handling. Lab testing has proven that once the timeout display value reaches zero (0), it resets back to 13107 and continues decrementing again.
