Configure Chassis Cluster (High Availability) on the High-End SRX devices: SRX1400, SRX3400, SRX3600, SRX5400, SRX5600, SRX5800

This technote contains the following for configuring high-end SRX Series devices (SRX 1400, SRX 3400, SRX 3600, SRX 5400, SRX 5600, SRX 5800) as a Chassis Cluster for High Availability:

The following example steps thru the configuration of a pair of SRX devices in HA:

Important Note:  The above example can be used for configuring the SRX1400, SRX3400, and SRX3600 too, except for the control-ports configuration. The 'set chassis cluster control-ports' commands are not set for these devices:

The SRX1400 automatically uses transit ports ge-0/0/10 and ge-0/0/11 for the control ports 0 and 1 respectively.  See KB20916 - Control ports for Chassis Cluster configuration on SRX1400.
The SRX3400 and SRX3600 uses two designated, labeled ports for the control ports.
