Issues Resolved in this Jloader 1.1.8 Release:

PROBLEM:

PR-873883

  • Platforms Impacted:     QFX3500
  • ISSUE:
    • Management port (ME0) disconnect and transmit errors seen intermittently when using copper SFP-T transceivers on the QFX3500.
    • Using copper SFP-T transceivers on the SFP management module ME0/ME1 management interfaces (C0/C1), may result in disconnect problems causing transmit/output errors. The issue can be seen immediately or over an undetermined period of time.
  •  SOLUTION:
    • TSB16246: The issue is fixed in the jloader 1.1.8 release through TSB16246.

PROBLEM:

PR-753509

  • Platforms Impacted:     QFX3600
  • ISSUE:
    • A defective fan module may show an incorrect LED status of "green" when system is in Line Card mode. The correct status for a defective fan tray is "amber" and blinking.
  • SOLUTION:
    • TSB16246: The issue is fixed in the jloader 1.1.8 release through TSB16246.

PROBLEM:

PR-832012

  • Platforms Impacted:     QFX3500
  • ISSUE:
    • Due to a change introduced in jloader 1.1.7, the second DIMM module is not initialized. This does not impact the QFX3500 as a standalone since it only uses the one DIMM module, but if the QFX3500 is used as a node the second DIMM module is required.
    • Impact: The field impact is very limited since QFX3500 units were never shipped with the 1.1.7 release.
  • SOLUTION:
    • TSB16246: The issue is fixed in the jloader 1.1.8 release through TSB16246.
