Article ID: TSB16314 TECHNICAL_BULLETINS Last Updated: 21 Jan 2014Version: 1.0
Alert Type:
PSN - Product Support Notification
Product Affected:
QFX3000-G, QFX3000-M
Alert Description:
On a QFX3000-G or M QFabric system, if you execute "show interfaces queue <interface-name > source-chassis <> " or "show interfaces queue <interface-name > source-chassis <> " command on a Network Node group CLI, FPC may detach from the Network Node Group and interfaces may flap.

Below is the example of commands.

show interfaces queue xe-1/0/40 source-chassis 1
show interfaces queue xe-1/0/42 source-fpc 1

These commands are only available in Network Node Group CLI ( NW-NG-0).  User can only go to Network Node CLI from Qfabirc CLI  by executing "request component login NW-NG-0" . Network Node CLI is meant for troubleshooting purposes for Juniper Support and users are recommended to use Qfabric CLI.

Solution:
DO NOT execute "show interfaces queue <interface-name > source-chassis <> " or "show interfaces queue <interface-name > source-chassis <> command in Network Node Group CLI.

Below 2 commands are not supported on Qfabric.
  1. show interfaces queue <interface-name> source-chassis
  2. show interfaces queue <interface-name> source-fpc

This issue will be fixed in future 12.2X50,13.1X50 Maintenance Releases. These commands will be removed from Network Node CLI .
