Alert Description:
On QFX3500 Virtual Chassis or QFX3600 Virtual Chassis platforms, Packet Forwarding Engine (PFE) crashes continuously when 40G virtual chassis ports (VCP) are present or enabled when the devices run Junos 14.1X53-D48. This problem is being tracked in PR1408222.



 
Solution:
Do not use Junos 14.1X53-D48 on QFX3500 or QFX3600 platforms deployed in a Virtual Chassis. Use 14.1X53-D47 or lower.
