Traffic drop is seen on EX4300 when 10G Fiber port is using 1 Gigabit Ethernet SFP optics with Auto Negotiation enabled

 
Solution:
Traffic drop is seen on EX4300 when 10G Fiber port is using 1 Gigabit Ethernet SFP optics with Auto Negotiation enabled. This issue is applicable to EX4300 platforms using 10G Fiber ports supporting 1G optics in any of the applicable PIC ( PIC0 and PIC2 for EX4300-32F and EX4300-24/48T/P PIC2). Traffic will not egress out of these ports and peer will not receive the traffic. This issue is NOT applicable to EX4300-48MP platform.

This issue was introduced in 17.2R3, 17.3R3-S2, 18.1R3-S1,18.2R2,18.4R1.

Issue has been fixed via PR 1405168. Please refer the PR for more details. Issue is fixed in 17.2R3-S1, 17.3R3-S4, 18.1R3-S4, 18.2R3,18.3R2,18.4R2

Workaround : Disable auto-negotiation on these ports using "no-auto-negotiation" stanza.
