The following are incremental changes in 18.3R1-S3.

PR Number Synopsis Description

ARP reply is drop when we add temporal buffer-size on the NNI interface

ARP request is getting dropped and not forwarded to the NNI interface queue when the CoS configuration has temporal buffer size.

ACX5k: fpc0 (acx_rt_ip_uc_lpm_install:LPM route add failed) Reason : Invalid parameter after configuring lpm-profile.

In ACX5000, some next-hop routes not getting installed properly, reporting message "Failed to h/w update ip uc route entry" In LPM mode, for default route if route changes from ecmp to non-ecmp HOLD nexthop, PFE gets into a corrupted ecmp nexthop. We fix the NH index issue and fixed some issues related to handling ipv4 vs ipv6 default routes for LPM.

The pfe process might crash and all interfaces might flap as a result

On QFX5110/QFX5200 platforms, the pfe process might crash due to a rare issue in which any interface flaps. As a side effect, all interfaces might flap.

SFB and PDM/PSU related info is missing in jnxBoxAnatomy MIB on high end MX routers (MX2010/2020).

SFB and PDM/PSU related info is missing in jnxBoxAnatomy MIB on high end MX routers (MX2010/2020)

DNS requests with EDNS options might be dropped by DNS ALG

On SRX platforms with DNS ALG enabled, the DNS requests with Extension mechanisms for DNS (EDNS) additional options might be dropped by DNS ALG.

Protocol adjacency might flap and FPC might reboot if jlock hog happens

On all platforms and in scaling scenario, if doing some operation which causes jlock hog, the protocols adjacency might flap and all the FPCs might reboot.

MAC addresses might disappear if the interface MTU of EVPN PE is changed

In EVPN Multihoming scenario, if the MTU of CE facing interface on PE (i.e., configured with ESI, 'set interfaces ae0 unit 1 esi 00:11:22:33:44:55:66:77:88:99') is changed, the MAC addresses learned from remote PE might be deleted and not added back, resulting in EVPN traffic loss.

MPLS LSP will keep down state due to routing loop detection after flapping link between P router and egress PE.

MPLS LSP will keep down state due to routing loop detection after flapping link between P router and egress PE under setting "expand-loose-hop" knob to the P router.

STP PDUs might not be getting processed as show command is taking more time to display results

When show command is taking a long time to display results, the STP might change states as BPDUs are no longer processed and cause lots of outages.

The dcd memory leak might be seen when committing configuration change on static route tag

After committing configuration change on static route tag (see below example), the memory consumed by device control daemon (dcd) might increase. The leak rate is slow (200KB for every commit with one tag change). [edit routing-instances TEST routing-options static route xx.xx.xx.xx/25] - tag 10; + tag 11;

FPC might reboot on VMX in subscriber scenario

On VMX in subscriber scenario, RIOT core might be observed on VMX. The respective FPC might reboot after generating RIOT core. All the traffic or service via that FPC will get impacted.

EVPN: In the non-collapsed (centralized) topology, when one of the 2 spines deactivates the underlay protocol (ospf), the leaf still points the virtual-gw-mac's next hop to the down spine

In the ECMP path, MAC update should happen when the previously pointed node goes down for a RVTEP. Also the learn_mask was not updated. The issue is fixed in Junos:17.3R3-S3 junos:17.3R4 junos:17.4R3 junos:18.1R3-S2 junos:18.1R3-S3 junos:18.1R4 junos:18.2R3 junos:18.3R1-S3 junos:18.3R2 junos:18.4R2 junos:19.1R1

ACX 5448: TrTCM Policer configuration parameters are as per RFC4115.

ACX5448 hardware supports TrTCM of RFC4115. While the RFC4115 & hardware deals with CIR/CBS & EIR/EBS, JunOS CLI does have CIR/CBS & PIR/PBS only. So, PFE will calculate internally EIR=PIR-CIR and configure the hardware. And the PBS value is configured as EBS in the hardware. ACX5448 supports minimum of 22Kbps policer rate, so EIR (PIR-CIR) should be minimum 22kbps.

The nsd daemon crashes and causes the web filter to stop working

If UTM web-filter is configured and an application is configured into source/destination NAT rule, once this application is deleted or modified, the nsd daemon might crash. This issue might cause web-filter does not work.

DMAC problem of IRB interface for traffic over the l2cuircuit

For LT interfaces packets in TX path missing 4 bytes in l2 header

With arp-suppression enabled, QFX5K/EX46 may not forward IPv6 Router Solicitations or Advertisements packets.

In Vxlan scenario, when arp-suppression enabled on QFX5K/EX46 platforms, the device may not pass IPv6 router Solicitation and Advertisements packets.

The dcpfe might crash when any interface flaps

On QFX5110/QFX5200 platforms, the dcpfe might crash if any interface flaps.
