PSN - Product Support Notification
Alert Description:
On EX2300/EX2300-C platforms, if Junos software is with FreeBSD kernel version 11 with the build date on or after 2019-02-12, the switch may stop forwarding traffic or responding to console.

When the issue occurs, some of below symptoms could be observed:
1. Not responding to console
2. Not able to ping management interface
3. Traffic is not going through
4. No core dump after the power cycle
5. No related error messages
6. LED is flashing after disconnecting the cable as well

This issue was seen due to a defect in the Freebsd kernel 11. There is no specific trigger to this issue and while infrequent, can be randomly seen during normal operations. There is no workaround of this issue. Power cycle of switch would recover the issue.

Below PR is tracking this issue.
